Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays are quickly becoming a standard in dentistry due to their numerous advantages. Using a compact radiographic camera, no bigger than a pen, we can quickly capture detailed images of each tooth, replacing the traditional film used in regular X-Rays. This advanced technology eliminates the need for chemical development or processing, with images instantly displayed on a computer screen as soon as each scan is completed. Providers and patients can view the images within minutes. By adjusting the angle of the imaging wand, the provider can capture every angle of each tooth, offering immediate results and eliminating any waiting time.

Our advanced imaging technology exposes patients to much less radiation than traditional X-Rays while providing reliable, high-quality results. This allows our skilled provider to quickly identify any abnormalities in the teeth, gums, enamel, as well as tumors, cavities, and hidden dental structures.

Images are instantly displayed on a monitor, where the provider can review and explain them to the patient. They can also be enlarged, adjusted, and saved for future reference. This technology allows for the digital comparison of X-Rays over time, reducing waste and eliminating the use of harmful chemicals.
